About Stamos Travel

Stamos Travel was founded by Helen Stamos in 1974. She was inspired by a five month trip to Greece that she took with her family in 1972. Her desire was to sell trips to Greece and to this day remains a specialty. It was originally located in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

In 1984 it moved to Kerrytown in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. Today, not only does Helen work there,but her sons Sam Stamos - who has a marketing degree from Eastern Michigan and Costa Stamos.

Although Greece is a country that the agency excels in, the staff is also knowledgeable on resorts, cruises, and vacation travels. Like Special events, groups, honeymoons, family reunions and Spring breaks. Many of the staff members have traveled extensively in Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America and Asia. They all know what each region has to offer.

Stamos Travel does charge fees. The fee schedule is as follows:

Ticketing Fee is $20.00 per person.
(This fee may be waived for charter/tour packages that include air/resort hotel or escorted tours and cruises).

The fee may not be waived if the air ticket is purchased separately.

Change Fee / Cancellation Fee is $25.00 per person, and is assessed in addition to any supplier imposed penalty, or fee.
